Rock stars come and go, few artists stand the test of time, but Belinda Carlisle is definitely one of them. After almost 40 years in the business, she has managed to stay relevant and this year she is more so than ever: she is coming to Bochum exclusively for one show! 

She began her career as the front woman of the band The Go-Go's and was already cleaning up the charts with them: sales of over 15 million albums and singles worldwide speak for themselves. And even after the band split up in 1985, Belinda Carlisle's solo career was unstoppable. She released her first album “Belinda” in 1986 and it went straight to gold. 

Only further success followed: their album “Heaven on Earth” won several international awards and the accompanying single “Heaven Is a Place on Earth” is still known everywhere today. The song climbed into the top 3 in a total of 12 countries and was crowned with several gold and platinum awards. 
This was followed by four more gold and platinum albums, with collaborations with George Harrison, Brian Wilson and Diane Warren, among others, as well as several sold-out world tours. Songs like “Leave a Light On” or “La Luna” are songs that are still celebrated by a whole generation and that we all know today.
